AFA's Executive Director is a member of the North Georgia Export Council (NGEC), appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. Ms. Ellis serves as Vice Chair of the NGEC. The 34 member Council was created to assist the U.S. Department of Commerce with the trade promotion efforts with the State of Georgia.

Joint Ventures:
Working with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (DEcD), Georgia companies are able to travel with AFA to exhibitions throughout the world for a nominal fee. For companies not wanting to travel, they may contract with AFA to represent them for a nominal fee. DEcD has offices in 11 countries around the world staffed with professionals to help you reach your goals with international trade.
